25 cm (10") high-end woofer. The extra wide rubber surround, the long voice coil and the extra large magnet system allow extreme strokes. The multiple ventilation of the voice coil (pole core drilling, holes in the pole plate, openings in the die-cast aluminium basket for rear ventilation of the centring) minimises losses and flow noise. The capton voice coil former and the long voice coil allow very high loads. The diaphragm is a sandwich construction of glass fibre layers and polyester fabric and therefore particularly low resonance.
These design details result in high level stability and excellent low bass reproduction.
