Prisma-Technology
The CD35 Prisma CD player features Primare's new high-fidelity control and connectivity solution for all rooms in the home. The name says it all: a Prisma generates the full colour spectrum from a single point of light - Prisma technology offers a full range of system management functions from a single point of control. Prisma enables playback of all stored and streamed media over a network. The technology's features include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® with connectivity and control based on the multi-room/multi-zone concept. All functions are managed via the Prisma App. Access to the Prisma system management is thus possible from any mobile device.

Philosophie
PRIMARE's philosophy consists of 3 pillars: timeless perfection in sound, design and workmanship. Primare started in 2010 with newly developed technologies and was awarded the European EISA Award, among others. The new amplifiers received a further development called UFPD2, the CD players were also upgraded with improved audio technology and (depending on the equipment) with network-based music streaming.

Equipment and personalisation
The PRIMARE CD35 Prisma is designed for use with both CD and network-based music content. It is fully balanced and offers 1 pair of analogue balanced XLR and 1 pair of unbalanced RCA outputs. In addition, it pampers the user with a USB port for storage media such as sticks and hard drives, Bluetooth and network streaming. The integrated newly developed DAC processes digital audio data in LPCM format with up to 24 bits and 768 kHz and the DSD format up to DSD256. It can be conveniently controlled from a smartphone or tablet with the new Primare Prisma app, which allows you to use many digital music streaming services and the new innovative multi-room and multi-zone functions. Aufbau & Verarbeitung
The CD35 Prisma is uncompromisingly crafted - a solid, protruding metal front houses the OLED display, which is completely shielded from the sensitive electronics, and the aluminium control knobs. A highly effective internal design with extremely short signal paths, high-quality components and solidly screwed connections ensures the proverbial high long-term stability of PRIMARE products.

Performance of the CD35 Prisma
The PRIMARE CD35 Prisma does many things differently from its competitors. The developers' goal was to build a perfect CD player that produces no sound of its own, but comes as close as possible to the ideal of lossless and error-free reproduction. The CD35 Prisma sounds uncompromisingly neutral, lively, broadband and extremely finely resolved, while the musical events are broadband, stable and detached from the loudspeaker and within reach in the listening room.
