To determine the required fuse value, please refer to the fine-wire fuse of the unit. For example, if the cap says T3.15AH250V, you will need a slow (T) fuse with a 3.15 ampere rating. If the cap says F3.15AH250V, you need a fast (F) reacting 3.15 Amp microfuse. In rare cases, such as Naim components which have a high current requirement for a short period of time when switched on, you will find the designation XT, which stands for Extra Slow Response Time. This XT fuse will therefore blow later than a normal slow blow (T) or even fast blow (F) fuse.
