After the release of the Oyaide XLR cable with 5N pure silver conductors, the "AR-910", many audiophile customers have asked Oyaide to make a pure silver connection with RCA plugs.
Finally, in 2011, Oyaide achieved the goal of producing the RCA cable "AZ-910" under the term "Pure Silver, Pure Signal".
The AZ-910 is based on the FTVS-910 with its 5N pure silver conductor produced by advanced manufacturing processes including continuous casting in a high frequency electric furnace, 19 stages of cold rolling, drawing and final annealing. The insulator is also essential for improving the transmission capabilities of the cable. To reduce signal loss, PFA has been used, which provides excellent electrical insulation and a low electrical dielectric constant. And we have also selected PE (polyethylene) which keeps permittivity to a minimum and increases the flexibility of the cable. This layering of these different materials not only increases the electrical capabilities of the conductor, but also dampens the internal vibration by changing the resonance point.
The ultra low-noise background of the FTVS-910 is achieved by a three-layer shielding structure. The first semiconductor layer attenuates static noise and electric microwaves. The second copper foil shielding protects against high frequency noise. The third, silver-plated mesh shielding protects against low frequencies.
