The Leif series cables are designed without any filling elements, which should increase the diameter and thus the perceived value of a cable. Such useless fillers may make a cable look more impressive, but they also deprive the signal of its 'liveliness' and energy due to electrical and mechanical interactions.

Northeast's approach to audio cable design is straightforward: 'Less is more', using superior materials and construction principles. Each Blue Heaven Interconnect uses four oxygen-free, silver-plated solid core copper conductors of 0.13 mm2 cross-section, each one encased in a precision extruded low capacitance FEP layer. These conductors are wound into a precisely wound and mechanically stable arrangement that ensures equal spacing between conductors and a uniformly twisted shape. This strand is finally surrounded by a fine protective braid and an FEP sheath.

The principle of maximum effectiveness and precision is continued in this design until the selection of the most suitable connectors: The Leif series cables are assembled by hand in the USA with particularly light Neutrik RCA connectors or balanced XLR connectors. Only silver solder is used to comply with the RoHS directive and to ensure the quality and durability of each connection.

The result is an audio cable that comes as close as possible to the hi-fi ideal: absolute integrity of the signal, nothing is added to the music and nothing is obfuscated.
