The Goldring Elite is an extremely high-quality moving coil pickup system with the low output voltage typical of this type of pickup. It utilises the latest Goldring technologies, including the ultra-rigid Pocan® housing and a neodymium magnet.

The Elite features a Gyger S-cut diamond, which reliably captures all the information stored in the groove and ensures an exceptionally straight and wide frequency response. Optimum damping of both channels is achieved by symmetrically winding the low-mass armature. The coils are made of silver wire, which enables a much higher resolution than conventionally designed cartridges.

The large MC systems from Goldring sound similar to the Eroica entry-level MC systems, but offer significantly better spatialisation and more power and substance. The difference to the ‘small’ Eroica systems is particularly noticeable with large classical works and live recordings. The sound is never intrusive, rather restrained and finely resolved. Ideal systems for medium-weight tonearms! The Goldring Elite offers excellent value for money.
