Live in Paris was recorded in late November 2001 during a concert at the Olympia Theatre in Paris. Krall elegantly performs works from the Great American Songbook and gives them soul in her inimitable way. She is accompanied by Anthony Wilson (guitar), John Pisano (acoustic guitar), John Clayton (bass), Jeff Hamilton (drums) and Paulinho da Costa (percussion). The Orchestre Symphonique Européen is conducted by Alan Broadbent.

This hybrid SACD has been remastered by Sound Max Studios in Hong Kong especially for the audiophile market in Asia. Experience has shown that these are subtle interventions which above all try to avoid unnecessary compression. The master files used are from Universal Music in England.
