Cardas Clear Sky Interconnect - XLR audio cable


The CLEAR Sky brings the CLEAR technology to a lower price point. The individual conductors are less fine than the cables above them in the hierarchy, but are also wrapped around a Kelvar core. The cable uses PE air hoses for stabilization and has a braided metal shield. The two inner conductors are twisted together with the PE air tubes. For the XLR version the shield is used as ground conductor.

Despite the comparatively simple construction, the great advantages of the CLEAR technology with its transparent and natural sound image come into their own. The voices also have the typical Cardas melodiousness. The cable is very flexible and can be used well even in difficult to reach positions.

Termination options: The cable is available balanced as XLR with Neutrik XLR connectors or unbalanced with Cardas GRMO RCA connectors. For the XLR version, Cardas CG XLR connectors are available as a surchargeable upgrade. The cable and also the RCA connectors are from the USA and are terminated by hand in Bandon, Oregon.
